St. Catherine’s Manor of Fostoria Hosts Hard Hat Tour

 St. Catherine’s Manor of Fostoria hosted a Hard Hat Tour on Thursday, January 24 highlighting their current major expansion and renovations which began in May 2018.

The therapy gym has been expanded by 960 square feet, making this state-of-the-art gym a total of 1,725 square feet. This expansion also includes a separate entrance for outpatient services. Another exciting component of the expansion project is the offering of a new service, Assisted Living. The Assisted Living neighborhood includes accommodations of 7 one-bedroom apartments and 1 studio apartment, all with kitchenettes. The neighborhood also features a community dining room, lounge area for socialization and relaxation, nurse’s area, residential washer and dryer, and spa.  The project is slated to be completed in March of 2019.

Main Street in Fostoria, Ohio.  H & Co. Salon is a full service salon,owned and operated by Heather Bond, and offers nail services, waxing, Brazilian Blowout Expressand much more.  Salon hours are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.,  Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

First Ever Kid’s Makers Market Christmas Edition a Success

Kid’s Christmas Makers Market December 1

The Chamber is hosting the first ever Kid’s Christmas Makers Market in the hours leading up to the Fostoria Rotary Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1. The Kid’s Christmas Makers Market is a way to encourage and empower youth with the entrepreneurial spirit while creating additional foot traffic in our downtown and into local businesses.
The Kid’s Christmas Makers Market will feature 13 kid makers who will be selling a variety of handmade items each housed in 9 downtown businesses.  The Market will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.
